Thank you.
You maybe wondering why i began with these two words that usually is uttered at the end of a conversation or email etc. To cut to the chase, saying a simple thank you is in a way melting that inner ego hidden within ourselves but that which keeps dancing in our minds in every manner possible, tampering relations on the way. Showing appreciation is a humane gesture that can brighten the faces of the giver and receiver alike. In a particular context, in a very pronounced manner. And that context is the japanese term ‘arigato’. The japanese equivalent for thank you, arigato goes further than just saying that. It is a spiritual one second when we pronounce ‘arigato’, acknowledging ourselves as the giver, for having behaved in a caring manner or a heightened sense of gratitude in the receiver for having been helped. There are different variants to saying arigato in different situations, but for now let us just stick to the simple…
Arigato.
